U ormaru / In the closet

What is this?

What am I doing here?

A closet is a small and enclosed space, a cabinet, or a cupboard in a house or building used for general storage or hanging clothes.

Figuratively, a closet is a place where one hides things; "having skeletons in one's closet" is a figure of speech for having particularly sensitive secrets.

Thus, "closet" as an adjective means secret — usually with a connotation of vice or shame. To "come out of the closet" is to admit your secrets publicly, but this is now used almost exclusively in reference to homosexuality.

But I'm not homosexual. It's worse.

9 DAY

What am I doing here?

Na Savi. Koja se podigla do ivice ograde keja. Sedim na mermernim plocama na keju pored zeleznickog mosta. Gledam u vodu kako nailazi. Zeleni most. Nemam skoro nista da kazem.

Gledam u svoja stopala, tik iznad vode.
Tesko je ne uskociti. Jos i Sava bucka.
Jeli Sava zensko? Cini mi se da jeste. A Dunav? Jeli Dunav musko? Svejedno…dok plove.

Ponekad je stvarno bolje da cutim. Ja sam zena sa problemima. I zasto onda ne zadrzim te stvari za sebe? Zatvaram vrata od ormara i pokrivam se preko glave s tvojom majicom.

Presla sam biciklom pola grada… Svi ti parovi sto setaju, te rasprodaje, to … usamljena sam. Bolje da odmah priznam.
